Overall lovely place, I can just recommend!!!
It has stunning and beautiful setting very close to the ocean and the mountains, the hill overlooking the town of Kaikoura, and the bay on the second morning. The host, Tania, makes you feel at home🙂

The view was mind-blowing, with a stunning panoramic of the ocean and mountains from the deck. The apartment was modern and well-appointed, with a heater on the balcony for chilly October evenings. The bedrooms were classy and the freestanding bath was a lovely touch. The place felt like a cozy cottage, with plenty of blankets and heaters to keep us warm. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the township and excellent coffee nearby. Can't wait to come back in summer to use the outdoor bath!

We had a fantastic stay at A Room With A View. the room was comfortable and had an amazing view. What stood out the most were the thoughtful extra touches. the kitchen was well-equipped with spices and everything we needed for cooking. We were pleasantly surprised to find bread and eggs upon arrival. the host was generous and suggested a trip to swim with dolphins, which was a highlight of our stay. the landlady was very nice and helpful, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. it was a splendid experience. Cons: Nothing to mention. 😊.

My partner and I had the most incredible stay at this hidden gem in Kaikoura. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking views of the ocean. The apartment was cozy and clean, with charming kiwi retro touches. I loved the barbeque on the balcony, where we enjoyed delicious meals while taking in the stunning scenery. And let me tell you, the outdoor bath was an absolute highlight! It was pure bliss to relax in the warm water, surrounded by stars overhead. The location was also perfect, with walking trails nearby and the town just a short drive away. Despite a few minor drawbacks, like the inclement weather and the need to prepare our own breakfast, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I want to thank the friendly owner for their support and for making our stay so memorable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a magical getaway with a room that truly offers a view like no other.

A Room With A View is my go-to place, no regrets. The staff helped me with my elderly parents. It’s perfect with Wi-Fi, free parking, dryer, AC, flat-screen TV, VIP check-in/-out. I keep coming back for city trips.

I recently stayed at a cozy Bach in Kaikoura for a short getaway. The property, nestled up on a hill, offered stunning views, especially during sunrise and sunset. The clean and tidy room was warm and inviting upon arrival. The private and peaceful location was a bonus, away from the hustle and bustle of the main center. Tania, the host, was friendly and even allowed us to check in early. The facilities were excellent, and the bath on the deck was a delightful experience. I highly recommend this place for its beauty, comfort, and tranquility.
Totally recommend this hotel.

The highlight of our stay was definitely the breathtaking 180 degree view of the ocean. It felt like we were floating on a cloud, witnessing a real-life masterpiece unfold before our eyes.
The lack of a bath on the deck, as shown in the photos. It would have been the cherry on top of an already fantastic experience.

The view from the hotel was absolutely stunning, especially during sunrise and sunset. It was the perfect way to start and end my new year. the room was cozy and comfortable, and I loved that the lights and heater were turned on before my arrival. the bath on the outside deck was a real treat; I got to relax and enjoy the beautiful ocean view. the location of the hotel was also great; it was nestled on a hill, away from the hustle and bustle, providing a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere.
The kitchen in the hotel was a bit rickety and could use some upgrading. Lastly, the shower in the room was not up to par;
